Crews Hoist Vehicle That Veered Off Garden State Parkway In Toms River

A vehicle that veered off of the Garden State Parkway in Toms River was hoisted back on the roadway on Wednesday, Jan. 3.

The NJDOT says it happened north of the Toms River toll plaza just after 8:30 a.m.

A traffic camera showed a car lifted onto a tow truck bed near mile marker 85 about 90 minutes after the incident was first reported.

All lanes remain open.
